You know what's better than finding some really cool kids clothes? Finding out that they do grown up clothes too! Check out the close up of that little grey skirt, it has neon stripes! Surprisingly not ridiculous prices too...Bonus.

Three's A Crowd Pleaser /// Cable Knit
When the temperature dips it's only natural to start layering up your soft furnishings as well as your wardrobe. A mix of textures always works well to cozy up a space and I've seen loads of cable knit items on the market; from cushions and blankets to rugs and even lighting. It's everywhere!
I'd layer it up with a reindeer skin and maybe even a little mohair for ultimate winter warmth.

Calligraphy Inspiration from Sweden
Super talented Swedish designer and calligrapher Ylva Skarp opened up her home and demonstrated some beautiful handwritten Christmas ideas for the latest issue of Lantliv magazine. She lives with her family in an old schoolhouse. The space is incredible and a great example of how to layer up textures for the winter months but I'd like to see this space at night. As much as I love the neutral colour palette, it looks a little chilly. I hope it's flooded with warm light from those lamps in the evenings. Still, if it was offered to me, I'd take it...

Weekend Treasure Hunt
On Saturday afternoon I had a few hours off. I love my family but sometimes a little 'me time' is a necessity. I took the opportunity to head over to a monthly flea market that I'd been trying to get to for a long time. The Drill Hall on Dalmeny Street, in Leith, is an awesome space with a ridiculous amount of natural light. It's home to Out of The Blue, an arts and education trust committed to community projects. There are offices and studios rented to creative businesses and a large space, perfect for markets, as well as shows, workshops and classes. There's a café too...for sustenance. On the last Saturday of every month the hall hosts the Out Of The Blue Flea Market from 10am till 3pm, and it's definitely worth a visit.
I picked up this vintage silk blouse for £1.50 and, the artist's mannequin, large wood bowl and awesome white and gold vase all came from the same seller, and were £2 a piece! So, I had a very fruitful and enjoyable afternoon which cost a total of £11.40, including £1.40 for the bus and £2.50 for the most tremendous flat white coffee from Artisan Roast on my wander home.
Did you find any treasure this weekend?

Three's a Crowd Pleaser /// Foxy!
My computer needed some down time so it went to visit the computer spa at my brother's flat in Glasgow and has returned as new! In the meantime I got a little bit fanatic about foxes and had to share. I'm thinking you don't need little ones as an excuse to inject some woodland animal fun into your life.
I'm also thinking 'Three's a Crowd Pleaser' could be a regular post...

A little bit of sunshine...
So, that's it. It's the end of August and we didn't get a massive amount of sunshine (nor did I get much blogging done, sorry!). If you follow me on Instagram (@yeahokbye) you'll know that I unabashedly wear my Havaianas in the rain (it's a skill) and you will learn that I abstain from socks till well into the autumnal months. A stranger once commented on my stubborn footwear ways in late October.
So, in the spirit of ignoring the chill, already in the air, I've compiled a little collection of yellow brights to add a ray or two to your home (and handbag collection - I can't help myself).
A little splash of colour on a neutral palette can lift an entire room. From neon to mustard, if any colour can do it, yellow can!

London Interior
I was pretty speechless when I came across these photographs of Interior Designer, Shaun Clarkson and fabric designer, Paul Brewster's London home by James Balston. There are too many awesome features, like the painted floors and the glazed panels, to mention but there's one room that I'm saving for its very own post...because it blew me away! Come back tomorrow to see it!

Lonny Favourites (June 2012 issue)
I managed to take half an hour out of my manic mummy schedule this weekend to have a virtual flick through the newly released issue of Lonny. Here's a little collection of my favourite images from this month's edition....obviously they're not all from the same home - that would be ridiculous...or would it...?

Villa Vals
Dutch architects SeARCH and CMA designed this hillside gem with the environment in mind. Carved into the hillside near Vals (home to Therme Vals Hotel and Spa - another architectural gem) in Switzerland, you enter Villa Vals via an underground passage from an unassuming barn...lucky because you could miss that beautiful curved façade if you were skiing overhead. The light-flooded concrete interior features natural stone steps, and an abundance of Dutch design including the neon colour pops from Scholten & Baijings as well as those dining chairs and all that lighting. The best bit is you can stay there!

Super Stylin'
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that Interior companies' catalogues are rivalling the top interior magazines in terms of bright, fresh photography and inspirational styling? I'm loving these shots in the Spring/Summer 2012 catalogue from Denmark's Ferm Living. They've also posted 'behind the scenes' shots on their blog. Very pretty.
P.S. I want everything! The colours and graphics are awesome. It's all about the triangle!

Scandi Lovin'
At the risk of this blog becoming saturated in Scandinavian interiors, I give you...another one. This time last year we were in Copenhagen, visiting friends. A trip, that sadly, I never got round to blogging about. Maybe I'll skim through the millions of photographs and cobble something together soon. Maybe, that should go on my ever extending 'new years resolution'/'to do' list!
In the meantime check out this black and white home in Falun, Sweden (not Copenhagen). I'd trade my first born* for those globe pendants over the dining table...and the industrial, yellow drinks trolley...well, maybe not but I like them a lot..
*not, in any way, legally binding.

Primrose Hill Drawing Room
As promised in yesterday's post, here's one of my favourite interior projects by Retrouvius. It may only be one room but the textures are never ending. Raw concrete, irridescent tiles, grey painted floorboards, velvety upholstery and neon accents. Cold, but oh so hot!
Oh, and I'll be needing that chair...thanks.

Sparrow & Co.
Being from Glasgow, I jump at the chance to showcase home-grown talent so, say hello to Sparrow & Co. who opened their online doors to the public yesterday.
With just one visit you'll be ready for winter; mustards and greys, textures, patterns and scents. Done.
It's just the beginning so bookmark it and keep popping back to see new arrivals...I will be...

Colour with Grey
No doubt you all saw The Selby's visit to Abigail Ahern's fabulous home a few of weeks ago. Well, I thought I'd post a few pictures of her sister Gemma's pad; obviously with a little influence from Abigail...unless the love of dark walls and splashes of acid colour is genetic...which it may well be.
Could you be bold enough to plunge into a world of grey ?

West End Wonder
Check out this hallway. It's the grand entrance to a flat in Kelvingrove in the West End of Glasgow.
I came across the designers on Friday when Sebastian and I took a mooch around the Homes & Interiors Scotland exhibition in the SECC. Rehab's two interior showcases were among some little nuggets of tremendousnes at the exhibition. This hallway doesn't even represent their true style (new and retro furniture restyled & upholstered in awesome colours and fabrics), I just love the architrave detail.
Don't you think that when a space is dressed with a pair of matching table lamps it immediately looks 'grown up'...?
